Rachel Owens-Sarno, Miss Rodeo California

Rachel Owens- Sarno is a 24-year-old resident of Lakeside, California. She plans to complete her degree in Media Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. Most of Rachel’s time is spent in the saddle, but, when she’s not there, she loves spending time with her younger brothers, improving her physical fitness, and traveling around Southern California to see live music. Rachel’s platform this year is “Respect Ourselves, Drive to Empower Others.” She hopes to encourage people to treat themselves and others better, and believes it will lead to a better life.
